Natalie Mallis
Artistic Director
Natalie Mallis is an educator, facilitator, and muse with a passion for creating community. Currently, Natalie is an Adjunct Instructor of Music at South Louisiana Community College where she teaches courses in Music Appreciation and History of Jazz. With her unbridled passion for creating community through music, Natalie serves as the Artistic Director of the Bay Ocean Community Chorus and is the founder of musetome L.L.C., an arts consulting company curating strategic and creative goals to energize community impact for choirs, music groups, and arts education programs. Prior appointments include Director of Choral Activities at Reed College, Muskingum University, and the University of South Florida. In addition, Natalie was the Artistic Director of the Singers’ Club of Cleveland, a tenor-bass chorus celebrating musical excellence since 1892. She maintains an active schedule as guest conductor, adjudicator, and choral clinician. As a professional choral singer, Natalie has performed seasons, concerts, and recordings with the San Antonio Chamber Choir, the Cleveland Chamber Choir, and has appeared at the Boston Early Music Festival.
